Trust Games Football Tournament Brings Teamwork, Competition and Community Spirit

Last Thursday before the end of term, pupils from across the Trust came together for another exciting round of Trust Games, with football taking centre stage in an action-packed afternoon of competition.
Representatives from all 13 primary and junior schools took to the pitch and competed across 14 fast-paced rounds of matches, demonstrating not only their footballing abilities but also fantastic teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the day. The event showcased the values that sit at the heart of our Trust, with pupils supporting one another, celebrating success and showing determination in every game.
A huge thank you goes to Saint George’s staff and secondary students, who played an important role in supporting the event and refereeing matches throughout the day. Their encouragement, leadership and commitment helped ensure the competition ran smoothly and created a positive experience for all pupils involved.
Following a fantastic afternoon of football, the current Trust Games standings are:
🥇 Shorne

Congratulations to all schools for their efforts and achievements so far. While the football event may be complete, the competition is not over just yet.
Attention now turns to the final Trust Games event - Athletics on Tuesday 14th July. With double points available, there is still everything to play for, meaning final positions could still change.
We are looking forward to seeing pupils once again demonstrate the enthusiasm, determination and teamwork that have made this year’s Trust Games such a success.
Good luck to all schools taking part in the final event!
