Aletheia Academies Trust Shortlisted for Employer Partner of the Year

We are incredibly proud and excited to announce that Aletheia Academies Trust has been shortlisted for Employer Partner of the Year by Best Practice Network in their Apprenticeship Awards 2025–2026.
This nomination recognises the Trust’s commitment to developing and supporting staff through high-quality apprenticeship opportunities. In particular, it follows the successful launch of our first closed cohort of the Specialist Teaching Assistant in SEND (Level 5) apprenticeship during the current academic year. The programme brought together 10 learners from across our schools, creating a collaborative cohort focused on strengthening specialist SEND practice and improving outcomes for pupils.
Since introducing the programme, the Trust has quickly recognised the significant benefits of apprenticeships as a tool for professional development, workforce retention, and long-term school improvement. Upskilling colleagues through structured, nationally recognised qualifications has become a key part of our people strategy, and we are committed to embedding apprenticeships as a Trust-wide opportunity.
Building on this success, our focus is now turning to further development pathways, with coaching and leadership apprenticeships for senior leaders forming the next stage of our workforce development plans.
We are extremely grateful to Best Practice Network for this recognition and to all colleagues who have contributed to the success of our apprenticeship programmes so far. Being shortlisted for this award is a testament to the dedication, ambition, and collaborative spirit across our schools.
The winners will be announced on Friday 13 February, and we look forward to celebrating alongside other organisations that share a commitment to investing in people and supporting lifelong learning.
