Aletheia Academies Trust is a non-profit charity, and our vision is rooted in a determination to improve the life chances of the children we serve locally. From the outset, I have been guided by the idea of a family of schools – understanding that, like any family member, each school and each community it serves is unique. We encourage our schools to celebrate and explore that individuality.
I see the Trust’s role as a parental one: to ensure every school is well-supported; to share individual strengths so that outcomes improve for all; to give pupils wider experiences beyond the reach of any single school; to develop and share staff expertise; and to provide expert leadership and governance.
Geographical proximity has always mattered to me. Knowing, caring for and understanding the areas we serve isn’t incidental to what we do – it is central to it. Under my leadership, Aletheia has grown from a single academy trust into a multi-academy trust comprising nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools, all-through schools and Specialist Resource Provisions, with a profile of schools diverse in size, designation and community.

Growing with Purpose
As of September 2026, Rosherville C of E Academy relocated to the new Cable Wharf development in Northfleet, expanding from a roll of 140 to 420 places with a new nursery provision. Alkerden All-Through Academy also begun occupation of its permanent 12-hectare site, complete with a state-of-the-art community sports facility. Both new developments include Specialist Resource Provisions. Once at full capacity, these developments will allow us to offer places to over 14,000 children.
I am proud that we are a fully inclusive Trust – home to both faith and non-faith schools, and both selective and non-selective schools. Every one of our schools, and our wider organisation, is guided by the same ethical vision. It is these values and principles that make me proud and privileged to serve as CEO of Aletheia Academies Trust.
